High School Student Fights Ivory Trade Through Inspiring Art Project For Elephants

High-School student's inspiring art project to protect elephants at Fed By Threads

Catalina High School student Tara Doyle asked Fed By Threads if we would install her inspiring art installation about the ivory trade and elephant poaching, and of course we said yes! We talked for a long time and I told her she had to find a positive visual message that will reach people's hearts without judging them. And this is what she came up with.

Tara wanted her exhibit in our store because of the work we do to inspire consumers to think differently about what they purchase and realize how powerful each of our consumer choices are in shaping the world around us!

Elephants face extinction within our lifetime which may seem unfathomable yet it is a growing potential reality. We need more young people like Tara who care enough to stand up in defense of our animal friends!

Thank you Tara for being an inspiration,
